Wayne County Historical Society Grand Opening A Success!

The grand opening of the Wayne County Historical Society's new John and Helen Villaume Wing drew record crowds over the weekend. Reponse was overwhelmingly positive to both the new exhibits and refurbished old favorites. The WCHS museum and research library are now back to regular hours - 10 am to 4 pm, Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free to members. Karey and Kelsi represented the Honesdale High School History Club at the festivities. The "Wayne County Experience" banner was designed by Kristen Hillier McKissick, a Wayne County native.
