Spencer Steam Tractor Fund

The previous article which appeared in this paper regarding the return of the historic Spencer Steam Tractor to Wayne County has caused much interest among readers. Many have called with information regarding the tractor’s past. As a result of the publicity, contact has been made with Spencer family members. Others have inquired as to how they might help with the restoration process. The Farm Museum Committee of the Wayne County Historical Society has set up a fund to help defray the expenses of both the purchase and restoration costs.
