Hi, My father's family (Harder) are from Cherry Ridge There was John Harder b.1862,father, wife Hannah Sporer b.1858 who had the twelve children ... My father was August Harder b.1890, Brother John b.1888, who had a coal business and Moving co. in town, wife Alma, daughters Doris,(she was a beautician) Ester, Jean and a profound disabled daughter Laura.. Charles who worked in Carbondale mining Coal. His wife was Lottie , had a daughter and son. The son was hurt severely in a motorcyle accident left with mental shortcomings It is family history that my Uncle John shot my grandfather John Harder in about 1903 when he was about 16 years old .... My father never had a birth certificate , only a baptismil from the luthern church in town ,, also there was a fire in the church that destroyed some records would like to know if any of this is true??? e-mail me anytime...
